Many organisations choose jute bags for campaigns, exhibitions, conferences and shows or simply as a ‘thank you’ gift. Jute bags are often used to compliment an organisations approach to social responsibility.
ITV
As part of ITV’s national campaign ‘The big clean-up’ ITV employees wanted to provide an original and desirable ‘thank you’ gift for all the thousands of ITV viewers and staff volunteers who took part in the 20 environment enhancing projects across the country to help transform their communities.
A competition was held for staff to design a jute bag with an environmental message and the winning design was chosen by the Managing Director Susan Woodward.
Fujitsu
IT Services Company Fujitsu enhanced their presence at the DCSA (Defence Communication Services Agency) Exhibition at the Cardiff International Arena by providing attendees with jute bags designed in the striking Fujitsu red. The jute bags complimented Fujitsu’s environmental giveaway theme.

The exhibition was attended by MOD and other Government Department.
Environment Agency
As part of World Environment Day 2006 The Environment Agency gave away thousands of jute bags as a reward; for pledges to the ‘promise the earth 2006’ campaign for the United Nations.
The ‘this bag’ was designed by Wayne Hemingway to compliment the promise of using reusable bags.
Upon invitation Jutexpo attended the Environmental Future’s conference and again supplied jute bags.
Liberal Democrats
Jutexpo bags have become a regular feature at the Liberal Democrats Annual Conference as a demonstration of their commitment to reduce the unnecessary use of plastic bags. The jute bags are given to members as a reward and for identification purposes.
The Naked Truth
Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver and founder of fifteen headed up a Social Business Master class in London with the Eden Projects Tim Smit. Conference bags were supplied to the masterclass attendees. The Eden Project is a firm favourite of jute bags and are available in their shop.
