Making a difference - Climate Neutral One Year on

What a difference a year makes – Jutexpo Ltd has been managing part of its impact on the environment for over a year now, by offsetting our CO2 emissions with Climate Care.

Back in February 2006 Jutexpo Ltd were the first orgnisation to introduce a climate neutral Jute bag. We have been using offsetting to tackle the carbon footprint of our bags by paying Climate Care to reduce CO2 in the atmosphere by the same amount that our manufacturing, transportation and day to day business activities add.

Now one year on the Jutexpo’s total CO2 offset is equivalent to:

Climate Care provides an offsetting service by funding a portfolio of projects around the world including:

• Renewable energy
• Energy efficiency
• Forest restoration
